Welcome, Beautiful Soul
I help you break free from old stories and self doubt to heal from the inside out, so you can live a life that feels true, free, and deeply fulfilling.
Through awareness, intention, energy, breath, sound, movement, and soul-led practices, we’ll awaken the love, power, and peace already within you.
My Story
I was born in Punjab, India, in my dad’s home in Phagwara and moved to Bakersfield, CA at the age of one. Like many immigrant families, survival was our focus. We did more than enough just to get by, and having a seat at the table felt like a win.
I grew up in a joint family - ten people living in a three-bedroom house. My parents, brother, uncle, aunt, cousins, and grandparents all shared one roof. Though I’m deeply grateful for my upbringing, my culture, and my roots, I felt like I was living two lives. At home, I was a Punjabi girl. At school, I was an American. There was no bridge between these worlds, and I never truly felt understood or like I belonged.
As children, we develop our ways of being, our beliefs, and our patterns. We don’t realize it at the time, but these unconscious programs shape our entire lives, and they can leave us feeling lost or stuck. We often ignore them, putting them on the back burner, but over time, they can deeply affect us in ways we may not expect. We spend much of our lives unlearning these patterns, shedding all that holds us back.
I’ve always been incredibly inquisitive, questioning “why” more than the traditional culture would have liked. I was often told to be quiet, not be so vocal, but my soul always knew that I had to fight for what was fair and pave the way, especially for those who couldn’t speak for themselves. The societal and cultural expectations placed on us - whether gender roles or how we present ourselves - create deep scars. These systems, embedded in us at such an early age, are hard to break free from as we grow.
That’s why I’m here - to pave the path for the next brown girl who feels torn between two worlds. The girl who is sacrificing her dreams for family, culture, or tradition, and feels lost in the process. I’m here to show you that you can feel safe in your own mind, body, and spirit before fulfilling the expectations of others.
We often chase external validation and approval, thinking it will fulfill us, but it only diminishes our soul. True fulfillment comes from living authentically and making our soul feel alive, not being a prisoner to others' expectations.
In my own journey, my culture and community emphasized external success - money, status, and achievement. And like many, I followed that path. I graduated in the top ten percent of my high school class, earned a double Bachelor’s degree at UC Davis in Psychology and Communication, and pursued a Master’s in Public Administration at CSU Bakersfield. I spent ten years climbing the corporate ladder, reaching the role of Director of Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where I helped raise a $25 million gift before the age of 30.
On the outside, it seemed like I was living the dream, but something was missing. Despite achieving all that was expected of me, I felt empty. I was living for others, not for myself.
I started asking myself three questions:
1. What am I doing?
2. Why am I doing it?
3. Do I even want to do it?
These questions shifted my awareness and helped me see how much of my life was about fulfilling others’ expectations. These questions changed my life, and they have also transformed the lives of my clients. They create a shift in our brains that leads to real transformation.
About eight years ago, I was deeply involved in CrossFit when my friend Russell invited me to try yoga, which turned out to be my first healing modality. I resisted at first, I told him, “I will never go to yoga, I can’t quiet my mind.” But eventually, I gave it a shot. I started practicing yoga, and while I went for the wrong reasons (to work out), I didn’t realize that even without full awareness, yoga had already begun working its magic.
After a few years, I met Monique, a yoga teacher who completely transformed my life. For the first time, I heard someone speak deeply about the soul, about love, and about opening our hearts. It resonated so deeply with me that I realized how much of my life had been spent fulfilling the expectations of others, while my own heart and soul were starving for attention.
This realization led me to a life-changing decision: I left my six-figure corporate job to pursue yoga and healing full-time. I moved to Bali to become a yoga teacher, with no clear idea of what the future held. But I knew that if I didn’t choose myself in that moment, I would lose myself forever. Bali was a turning point. I dove deeper into my love for love, studying with Eoin Finn in Blissology Yoga Teacher Training, where I learned to become a conduit of love and discovered that healing is not about fixing things - it’s about remembering who you truly are.
From there, I trained in Reiki to understand the energy that shapes us and our lives, and then I discovered the power of sound healing. My first sound bath was actually in Bali and it changed me. I realized how deeply sound can heal us. And the journey didn’t stop there. I went on to train in breathwork with David Elliott, where I learned how essential and powerful our breath is. We carry this tool with us every moment of our lives, yet most of us don’t know how to use it. Now, I’m passionate about helping others learn how to harness their breath to find peace.
I’m now humbled and honored to lead private sessions, public gatherings, and international retreats, and I’m grateful for every soul who has come into my life. The girl who once refused yoga because she couldn’t quiet her mind is now guiding others on their healing journeys.
I’m not here to say that I have all the answers or that my path has been easy. I share my story because I am a soul having a human experience, just like you. True healing comes from owning our story and sharing the truth, even when it’s painful. And once we commit, we can choose to release the suffering.
That’s what I’m here for - to guide you. If you’re ready to transform your life, heal your mind, body, and spirit, I’d be honored to walk with you.
If now isn’t the right time for you, that’s okay. Plant a seed, follow me on Instagram, say hello, or just know that when you’re ready, I’ll be here.
